M Voli E  (pronounced vo-lee) is a design studio based in New York City. M-V-E creates contemporary pieces that reference aspects of European folk culture. Inspired by artisan handcrafts and intricate embroideries, these pieces incorporate some of the same painstaking handmade techniques as in ethnographic museum collections. The trained eye will appreciate the detailed craftsmanship and the design aficionado will be drawn to their urban heirloom nature.
